Giovanna and I started Bleecker Street Antiques in 2002 from our apartment in Greenwich Village. We sold online from our website as well as on ebay and participated in various NYC markets. As our business grew we ventured out to markets along the East Coast from Massachusetts to Washington D.C. including Hertan's Brimfield, Dealer's Choice Brimfield, Barnstar Productions' Antiques in Rhinebeck, the NYC Pier Show, Debbie Turi Antique Shows and The DC Big Flea.
In 2004 we relocated to Sag Harbor, NY. where more opportunities arose and we expanded our business to include estate sales, handling all aspects of the sale including staging, pricing, promotion and the final clean out.
In April, 2008 The Brooklyn Flea was founded in Fort Greene and we jumped right on board. We continued with our estate business all the while maintaining our booth in Brooklyn. After 10 wonderful years with the Brooklyn Flea we've decided it was time for a change - We joined The Grand Bazaar NYC in February of 2018. The management has a grand vision for the bazaar and we wanted to be a part of it. Located at 100 West 77th Street & Columbus Avenue, we're open every Sunday year round.
Giovanna and I have covered thousands of miles over the years both selling and picking and we've loved every minute of it. Through the years we have developed a keen eye for an eclectic range of collectibles which has helped to increased our clientele of dealers, collectors and designers. Every day holds a new adventure.
